As a wholesale business we work on invoices. We request that you place your order well ahead of your requested delivery date whenever possible. If you require a quote, please  fax a list of plants to our office. All orders are subject to availability.

Terms of Sale

All prices are F.O.B. our nursery, Amherst, Massachusetts, and are subject to change without notice. A 15% small order fee will be added to the cost of all plant material (except seed) for orders less than $250. A purchase order or written order and a 25% deposit is required to hold an order. The balance is due upon delivery and may be paid in cash or by check. Net 30 day payment may be extended to customers who have established credit with New England Wetland Plants, Inc. A service charge of 1.5% per month (18% annually) will be charged to accounts over 30 days.

All plants are guaranteed to be alive and healthy upon delivery or shipment and to be true to name. No other implied or written warranty is offered. We will gladly correct any error made if we are notified in writing within 10 days of delivery. We cannot accept claims made after plants have been accepted and/or planted. In all instances, liability will be limited to a credit refund, or replacement of the stock at our option.

We do not guarantee the survival of plants on wholesale purchases. In order to maintain your plant material, be sure to keep the soil moist until planting. Additionally, good site preparation, proper wetland hydrology, and proper planting are required for success. Our nursery staff will gladly provide you with free advice regarding planting and care of the wetland plants and seeds, and we invite you to inspect our plants and nursery facilities before you order.

NEWP, Inc. cannot be held responsible for acts of God, vandalism, predation, flooding, drought, or other events or conditions beyond our control. NEWP, Inc. encourages ordering in advance; these orders are accepted with the understanding that crop damage and losses due to other natural causes are beyond our control.

Delivery and Order Pickup 

Customers are encouraged to pick up their plant orders from our nursery. Get directions here. Truck delivery costs are based on the size of the order and the round trip travel distance. Please call for a quote regarding delivery costs. Orders picked up or delivered within the state of Massachusetts will be charged 5% sales tax unless a Massachusetts or Federal Sales Tax Exemption Certificate is submitted to us. Seed packages are typically shipped by ground rate United Parcel Service. Please allow up to 5 days for your order to be processed and shipped during busy Fall and Spring planting seasons.

When you pick up your plant material, please remember to bring a strong tarp (preferably vented) and some rope. This will enable you to cover and secure the plants while in transit. Should you have questions about space requirements for transporting plant material, please call.
